Rich Gray

Rich Gray is a freelance technology specialist with over fifteen years of professional experience in a wide variety of industries. In March 2009 he started dedicating between 40-60 hours a week managing two small business networks with Linux, Unix, and Windows in both server and client roles. Currently the two networks provide a platform for research into IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS using open source software. He is active in local and state computer user groups and volunteers when he can.

Untangle is a Debian-based network gateway and firewall appliance which provides routing, web filtering, virus/spyware blocking, spam blocking and many other functionalities.  Untangle has a Free and Open Source Lite edition and commercial versions with enhanced functionalities.

There will also be a brief overview of other Linux or Open Source alternatives for Perimeter Security/Firewall/Router/NAT (LEAF, Zentyal, others)
